Using a well written Wikipedia article as a starting point for house music, I have collected the music examples provided and ordered the songs in a way that should show some kind of musical development:
Just from listening to some of the songs provided in the Wikipedia article, the links between disco and house music are quite apparent at this transitionary stage of the genres and so this should help us begin to understand the link between genres.
